Welcome to the 1st Grade blog!

Dear Parents,
We have had a wonderful start to the new school year and have already had the pleasure of getting to know our dear first graders. This month we have been busy learning classroom routines, as first grade is quite a change from Kindergarten. All of our children seem to be adjusting well and have already learnt so much.
As first Grade teachers we aim to provide for your child a quality learning oppurtunities enriched with hands on activities that serve to enhance your child's learning experience in school.
We will be working together in the classroom sharing the curriculum responsibilities between us- Morah Gaby being the General studies teacher and Morah Chaya the Judaic studies teacher.
Morah Gaby will be focusing on English, Math, Sciences, Social Studies whilst Morah Chaya wil be leading the Hebrew reading, Jewish festivals, Weekly Parsha and Middos (good character traits) lessons.
We hope to give your child an enjoyable learning experience by creating a happy learning environment and friendly classroom.
Please feel free to give us feedback, or ask questions regarding your child either by sending a note with your child, emailing us, or leaving a message with the school office (in which case we will get back to you as soon as possible)

We look forward to a great year ahead!
 Yours sincerely,

&
