Counting Money in Math Class Was Lots of Fun

In math we are learning about money. The class had a great time getting familiar with pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. We opened our classTzedakah  Box and gave each one of the kids some coins. They had to sort them and tell us how many of each coin they had. The teachers in the class counted up the money by recording the amounts on the board. We plan to donate the money to a charity very soon. This really turned out to be a great hands on Math Lesson.
