Some Exciting News from the First Grade....
As you know last week we went to the Central Park Zoo. In class we have been learning about Habitats in Science, and the 5 Boroughs and their Landmarks in Social Studies. This trip was a perfect opprotunity for the children to actually see animals in their Habitats and visit Manhattan, and a Landmark like the Central Park Zoo. The children saw a Polar Bear, a Sea Lion Show, Penguins, and a big favorite in our class the SNAKES.. They also saw some monkeys, and turtles. We all had a great time on the trip.
