February- Reading is FUN!! "Literacy Month"

We have some exciting events coming up at Mazel Day School. February is going to be a very busy month. The children are going to be meeting an author who will be speaking about writing stories and books. Mazel will also be hosting a Book Sale. Chidlren as well as parents will have the opprotunity to shop for books. Parents will be able to shop for books before and after school. One the most exciting events will be "PARENTS READ." Parents will be asked to come and read their child's favorite book to the entire class. There will also be a Parent Literacy Evening, during the first week of Literacy Month, where the importance of reading at home will be discussed. The children will also be going on a trip to the Grand Central Library. The last thing will be a "Reading Fun Day" with fun and exciting activities for the children.
