Many of you may have noticed a Reading Log in your child's homework folder. This is for them to fill in every single time they read a book at home. Generally children should read for at least 20 minutes a day. The reading log is a good way to motivate the children to read. When children look at the reading log and see how many books they have read it gives them a sense of accomplishment. Parents I am asking that your child reads or you read to them at least three times a week. Please record the book title, author, and your initials. I really appreciate your cooperation.
