HAPPY TU-BISHEVAT!!!

Today in school we celebrated Tu-bishevat together with the whole school.
We made Tu-bishevat crowns featuring the 7 fruits of Israel.

We had a delicious fruit party where we got to taste each of the seven fruits- wheat (crackers), barley, grapes, figs, pomegranites, olives and dates.
We watched a short video showing us all the seven fruits growing in Israel and sang our Tu-bishevat song.
We then tasted some exotic fruits that we've never had before and got to make the special Bracha Shehechiyanu on the new fruits.
Finally, we got to taste part of the tree cake for snack after lunch! Mmmm we enjoyed! :)
